The big televised events: the World Championship (December–January, Alexandra Palace, London), the World Matchplay (July, Blackpool), the UK Open, the World Grand Prix, the Grand Slam, the Players Championship Finals, the European Championship, the World Masters and the World Cup (a team event between nations).
