What this site is
The PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) is the world's largest professional darts organisation, running the World Championship, the Premier League and more than 200 events a year. Almost all information about them is in English, and most events are held in the UK and Europe. Following the PDC from Asia means piecing together schedules, results and rankings from several English-language sites.
Darts News puts it all in one place and makes it readable in Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Thai and Tagalog. We are not a broadcaster and not the official PDC website: the aim is to rearrange official information so it is easy to read and easy to find.
What is in the database
From 1994 to today. The numbers grow every day.
What you can do here
- Calendar every PDC event, filterable by tour and season. Date and venue changes are corrected as soon as the official data changes.
- Venue map which country and venue each event is held in, with event counts per season and per country.
- Event pages how far each player went, prize money by round, venue and field size.
- Rankings the PDC Order of Merit, each tour's ranking and the PDC Asian Tour Order of Merit, with prize money also shown in local currency.
- Stats season rankings by average and win rate, and the highest single-match averages.
- Player pages results, win rate and average by season, and titles. Japanese players are also shown with their names in Japanese.
- Guide basic rules, how to read averages, types of events, and how rankings and Tour Cards work.
Why Asia
The PDC runs an Asian Tour, and its top players qualify for big stages like the World Championship. Players from Japan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia and elsewhere compete in the same draws as Europe's best. Yet there has been almost nowhere to follow Asian players' results in their own languages.
Soft-tip (electronic) darts is also very popular in Asia, and many fans have never watched PDC steel-tip darts. So the site also explains the rules and how events work, so that newcomers can understand what the results mean.
Where the data comes from
- Schedules, results, player profiles and rankings: official PDC data (pdc.tv). Schedules are checked every 6 hours, results every 3 hours and rankings daily.
- Asian Tour schedule and Order of Merit: the official PDC Asia website (pdc-asia.tv) and the ranking it links to. Updated daily.
- Match averages: DartConnect (PDC events from 2019). Main-stage matches at televised events are not included.
- Japanese names: the official player directories of JAPAN and PERFECT (Japan's pro tours), used only when the romanised name matches exactly.
- Maps: © OpenStreetMap contributors. Exchange rates are daily reference values.
Data is imported automatically, and date or venue changes overwrite older information. Even so, it can differ from official announcements, so always check the official website before buying tickets or travelling.
What this site does not do
- This is not the official PDC website; it is an independent site with no connection to the PDC.
- No match video, and no PDC or event logos.
- No betting or odds information.
- Photos are used only when their source can be credited.
